After the great success of the 2009 event, SaporBio and PInC have renewed their partnership once again and have fixed the date with the public for the 11th to the 13th of June 2010 in Parco Sempione in the heart of Milan for the fourth yearly Milano SaporBio event.

The event continues to raise public awareness of the values of the organic and eco-sustainable world and to inform people about genuine food products and environmentally-friendly behaviour. In partnership with PinC - Parco in Comune, an important social awareness campaign supported by the Milan Design, City Cleanliness and Public Parks Department, the event made the Lombard capital the headquarters of the bio-eco philosophy, with a wealth of initiatives designed to increase public awareness of organic products and the natural environment. It is a fun, original approach to the four fundamental principles of the event: Flavour, Environment, Culture and Entertainment.

An organic, environmentally friendly village has been set up in Parco Sempione with a marquee divided into stands in which organic products can be displayed, sold and tasted.
There will be a conference area open to the public with debates and discussion groups on the politics of organic food and the environment organised with the BioEcoGeo magazine and thanks to the support of a range of national and local institutions and sector representatives.
The moderators will include the well-known journalist and presenter Tessa Gelisio, who works with natural, environmentally friendly beauty products.

The book 'I Magnifici 20', a list of well explained and not always obviously healthy products by the young writer and researcher Marco Bianchi, will also be presented to the public.
A new element in this year's event is SaporBio, a competition for the best organic olive oil producers. A panel of experts led by Dr. Gino Celletti will assess the excellent products of the best olive oil producers in Italy and chose the most genuine, the highest quality and the best flavour.
