Saporbio's designers are Marco Columbro and Stefania Santini, pioneers in the bio-eco world, and among the first to promote the organic and eco-sustainable way of life before such themes were part of our everyday lives as they are, finally, today.
Marco Columbro has been working in the organic sector for around 20 years, inspired by a personal commitment which arose from a personal need for information and for a healthy and balanced diet which respects nature.
Stefania Santini has devoted herself to the promotion of bio-eco values for years as well as to publicising and promoting good practices linked to research and consciousness-raising on the deepest impulses within human beings and the world as a whole. She believes deeply that human well-being is profoundly linked to awareness and understanding and to the delicate balance between Man and nature.
The work of these two promoters came to practical fruition in the organisation of their first great event - SaporBio in Versilia in 2007.
The team's project development and its recruitment of a range of employees began that year and it now includes experts, teachers and businessmen who have contributed their various skills to the team's many activities (events, promotion, dispersing information, team-building and consciousness-raising).
