Visit SaporBio at Cibus 2012 (Parma, Italy) on May, 7-10, 2012, the most important international exhibition on food and nutrition in Italy.

This year SaporBio is participating in Cibus, the most important food fair in Italy, with the SaporBio Lounge: an eco-design area, where you will find selected organic companies and enjoy tastings, cooking shows and other promotional activities.

The area of SaporBio is part of the wide panorama of organic companies taking part in Cibus 2012, an exhibition dedicated to the field of food and nutrition—all  participating companies are identified by the logo Cibus Organic.

Cibus Organic and SaporBio will share the same leitmotiv:

Italian Bio Passion – Passione di Vivere Bio

This is the leitmotiv with which the innovation, the tradition and the quality of some of the best Italian organic products are presented. Passion is the true motive that moves every operator involved in the organic field, and the passion for taste itself, the quality and the novelty of the field represent the spirit that animates the SaporBio Lounge, where the line of high quality organic products will be presented  with the  elegant packaging of Bottega di Casa Bottega; the Parmigiano Reggiano, aged 60 months, one of the prime examples of the Italian tradition of  Montanari & Gruzza; the creams of rice and spelt of Abafoods-Isola Bio, which also will preview its best millet cream; the organic dispenser of  BiologicOils, the innovative system for oil distribution, which is environmentally friendly,  high quality and value; and the new gluten-free pasta for coeliacs of Probios.

A major attraction will be the live cooking that will show-case Marco Columbro, actor and television anchor, and Tessa Gelisio, journalist and television anchor: we look forward to meeting you on May 8th at 3.00 pm. Marco and Tessa will entertain guests and audience by preparing traditional Italian dishes in a beautiful kitchen created on site by Ballarini (www.ballarini.it), which supplies also all the cookware of Greenline, a collection of cookware, made solely of recycled materials.

Each day at 1.00 pm the chefs of the Lounge will also be cooking for you, with innovative products of B.T. Food-Chef Dovunque: the first course in the great Italian tradition with organic ingredients in convenient ready-to-use packaging.

Finally, many other organic tastings, offered in collaboration with the restaurant and catering firm Atto Primo of Villaggio del Gusto di Fidenza (www.attoprimo.it), one of the best restaurants of the area, synonymous with quality and professionalism. Alce Nero, Lauretana, Agribosco, Natura Nuova, Elibiologica Società Agricola, Conserve Manfuso, Caffè Haiti, BiologicOils: these are the excellent products selected by SaporBio which will be the main players of innovative dishes such as miniburgers with organic ketchup by Terre Sangiorgio.

The  live cooking will take place immediately after the meeting for journalists that SaporBio, in collaboration with Fiere di Parma (Parma Fairs), will organize on May 8th, 2012 at 2.00 pm entitled “Organic: a lifestyle choice, an approach to the green economy and an opportunity for the Food industry Made In Italy”. Marco Columbro, Tessa Gelisio, Vitaliano Fiorillo – professor of SDA Bocconi School of Management, Cristina Giusto – nutritionist of the Udinese Football Team (Udinese Calcio), and one representative from Fiere di Parma (Parma Fairs) will present different points of view, on the opportunities offered by the organic market.

SaporBio Lounge is a modern, attractive and environmentally correct space set up in eco-design based on a project of Architect Simona Pezzetti, the well-known expert who has recently directed her focus and talent on green architecture, and is now specializing in this area.
 
The furniture in eco-design are provided and designed in collaboration with Corvasce (www.corvasce.it), a company specializing in furniture and fittings made with ecological cardboard.
